How it Started
About Me.
My counselling experience began in 2016 in York Region, Ontario collaborating and supporting diverse individuals from across the region and across the globe. I started practicing therapies in 2019 at a trauma response and counselling centre. I enjoy talking with people, with a conversational, non-judgemental, trauma-informed approach, that keeps diversity, equity, and inclusion at the forefront. I approach psychotherapy practice with a holistic, biopsychosocial lens, understanding that 'where a person is at in life' is determined by biological, physiological, physical, mental, emotional, enviromental, social, and cultural circumstances.
My niche is supporting persons experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, loneliness, overwhelm, confusion, relationship issues, chronic pain, trauma, burnout, addiction, recovery, life transitions, PTSD, self-harm, and disorderly eating.
